What we collect
We do not ask you to register, and we do not operate contact forms, comments or newsletters. We do not sell personal data.
Server log files
Our hosting provider automatically records standard access data that your browser transmits: the page requested, the date and time, the amount of data transferred, the referring page, your browser and operating system, and your IP address. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are deleted after a short period.
Analytics (Matomo, self-hosted)
We use Matomo, an open-source analytics tool hosted on our own infrastructure. It runs without cookies, anonymises IP addresses before storage and records the pages you visit, the referring page, your approximate region, your browser and device type, and clicks on outbound and affiliate links. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site). You can opt out at any time by setting a flag in your browser's local storage.
Map tiles
Interactive maps are rendered with Leaflet using the standard map tiles of the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF privacy policy). When a map loads, your IP address is transmitted to the tile servers in order to deliver the map images (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The maps never request your device location.
Fonts and libraries
The Leaflet mapping library, stylesheets and scripts are served from our own server. No external font services are used.
Affiliate links
This site earns revenue through affiliate partnerships with GetYourGuide. Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored" and transmit nothing until you click them. When you follow one, the partner receives your IP address and may set cookies to attribute a resulting booking to this site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For details, see each partner's own privacy policy.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
